Lyon whizkid Benzema on Real Madrid’s wish list

Real Madrid are very interested in signing French whizkid Karim Benzema but were told that they must meet the £40 million price tag if they want to prise Karim Benzema away from Olympique Lyon.
Jean-Michel Aulas, the Lyon president, has slapped the mega price-tag on Benzema after it was revealed this week that Real Madrid are tracking the young midfielder’s progress this season.
It seems to me that Real Madrid will definitely get this player as their current star forwards Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Raul are over the age of 30 and there is a need to replace these players with younger and more fresh players and Karim Benzema will definitely fit the bill.

Kaka won’t rule out a move to Real Madrid

Reports are out that AC Milan ace Kaka will not rule out a future move to Real Madrid.
Real president Ramon Calderon is said to be Kaka’s biggest fan ans is thought to be lining up a fresh and improved bid for Kaka in the January transfer window as the La Liga champions bid to defend their Spanish Primera Liga title.
However, AC Milan club president Silvio Berlusconi has said that the Serie A giants would do their best to prevent their star player from leaving San Siro anytime soon.
According to the player himself, he is not in a hurry to renew his current contract as it runs until 2011. I personally believe anything can happen in football nowadays and i’m pretty sure Madrid will get the player that they want but it will definitely come at a cost.

Reports are surfacing that Real Madrid are interested in signing Albert Riera from Espanyol and the speedy winger welcomes the interest from Real.
It has also been revealed that Real made enquiries about Riera on Saturday night and learned that the midfielder has a buyout clause in his contract worth £15 million which is considered relatively affordable for the Spanish giants.
Riera also added that it is an honour that Real Madrid are paying attention to his game and are interested in him.

Juventus chief comes to London for Frank Lampard

Reports are out that Juventus sports chief Alessio Secco is in London today for talks over Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard. It has also been revealed that Secco is set to meet with the agents of the England international in London to discuss an end-of-season move to Juventus.
Secco is confident that Lampard will become a Juventus player come end of the season and believes he can land Lampard for £7 million, however the player will have to take a cut on his £4 million Blues salary.
It will be interesting to see the reactions of the Chelsea fans once the deal gets going. Will they allow Lampard to leave? Will Lampard be willing to leave Chelsea for Juventus? Only time will answer those questions and Chelsea’s midfield playmaker will surely be missed if he decides to leave.

Didier Drogba is ready to leave Chelsea

Didier Drogba has came out and admitted that he is determined to leave Chelsea for another club because Jose Mourinho’s departure following the breakdown of the Portuguese manager’s relationship with Blues owner Roman Abramovich has shattered morale of all the players at Stamford Bridge.
Drogba also added that the damage has been big in the dressing room because the players and himself knows now what happened and who caused Mourinho’s departure.
Drogba also now believes that nothing can stop him from leaving the London based club and even rumours of Kaka and Ronaldinho joining Chelsea next season will not persuade him to stay.
Drogba strongly believes that he must think of his own career now and he claimed a move to a club that makes him dream would be ideal. He named Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter Milan as his preferred destinations and he would even consider a return to his former club Marseille in France.
Drogba cannot leave Chelsea until the January transfer window opens and i’m sure there will be a lot of clubs interested in signing the Ivory Coast striker. I’m also confident that Premier Leadue clubs such as Arsenal, Newcastle and many more will be interested in signing the striker.
